Shooting Waterfalls on Large Format Film in the South Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains: I loaded Fomapan 200 into the Linhof Technika and headed into the Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina to photograph Fall Creek Falls, both the upper and lower falls. This was also my first time experimenting with black and white contrast filters on film, so there was definitely a learning curve out on the trail. The trail guide called this an easy hike, it lied. What looked simple on paper turned into a breathless climb back up, but the waterfalls were absolutely worth every step.
